We use only safe, non-damaging cleaning agents—including corn cob media and hand tools—to protect sensitive components and precision surfaces throughout the process. No harsh abrasives or chemicals that could compromise your equipment.
Our Refinishing Process
1. Corn Cob Cleaning
The press is thoroughly cleaned using corn cob blasting media to safely remove all loose paint, dried ink, grease, and surface contaminants without damaging any components.
2. Solvent Washing
Following the initial blast cleaning, all surfaces are solvent washed to remove remaining residues and ensure a chemically clean surface ready for coating.
3. Detail Hand Cleaning
Every nook, crevice, and hard-to-reach area is carefully hand cleaned with appropriate tools, ensuring no contaminant is left behind on any surface.
4. Surface Smoothing
Press frames are disk-smoothed to remove imperfections, then fill-coated to create a perfectly even surface that will accept a flawless finish.
5. Priming
All prepared surfaces receive a high-quality primer coat that provides excellent adhesion and a uniform base for the topcoat system.
6. Final Finish
Presses are finished with premium Polane or polyurethane topcoats, delivering a durable, attractive finish that restores the equipment to like-new appearance.
On-Site or In-Shop Service
We offer flexible service options to minimize your downtime. Presses can be refinished at your location or transported to our facility—whichever works best for your schedule and operations.
